Cite a Kuki
In 2025, we began curating “Cite a Kuki”, a bibliography of work that is written by Cook Islands researchers globally. We encourage people to "Cite a Kuki" and prioritise indigenous knowledge through weaving in the excellent work of Cook Islands theorists and researchers to explain the world and our places in it. "Cite a Kuki" supports an intentional citation practice* that considers the politics of citation and the power of amplifying indigenous voice.
To be included, papers must be authored by one or more Cook Islands researchers or be of interest to Cook Islands’ aspirations. If you would like your work included, you can contact us with details of your publications.
